Week 36

Started moving my work stuff back home, hopefully can do some of the work from home but still feeling enormous guilt for not accompanying Steven to office, felt like as if I am leaving him to face all the problems all by himself. 

Star Wars 

Star Wars was released! Me and Daddy went to watch it, unfortunately something went wrong with the premier class hall, we ended up getting refund and watched the movie in a normal hall. Dad was disappointed with the movie, and yeah it does feel kinda draggy. But starting to think about how much our baby going to be sort of "Star Wars" related. Hubby decided he wants the baby name to be Chew Han Yang, earlier we both kinda decided on the Christian name Oliver, but ever since the Malay name got decided, I've been wanting to call the baby Han/Hans. To my sudden realisation, there is a character in Star Wars called Han Solo, and his sidekick is Chewbacca (aka Chewie). Come on... There's Han and there's Chew and there's Chewie and Karmen been saying that she wants to call the baby Chewbacca, too much Star Wars factors involved with the baby name yo! Hehe, you will always be Mama's space cowboy, and hope you grow up as handsome as Han Solo! I told hubs if there's a girl, we can consider Leia! 

14 December 2017 Doctor Visit 

Went for our 36 week hospital visit, realise that I have been seeing my doctor quite frequently. Perhaps every new mom panic over almost everything. Doc said the amniotic fluid level improved, and level is still fair. Not great I guess but improvement is good to hear. Baby is still on the smaller side, the ultrasound result came out around 2.3kg (Almost 300g increase compared to last week) but the doctor said that should be around 2.6kg.  Guess once baby is over 2.5kg is not too worrying, guess you inherited your daddy's figure, which is good as compared to being some overweight kid. 

Scheduled for a CTG scan on Monday, I really hope everything goes well. Heard from Elaine story about what happened to Andrew's cousin due to lack of oxygen, sounds sad. I really start to understand more and more how people always just say we don't hope for anything, just a healthy happy baby. 

Doctor said my BP was good, 110 today. The weird itch seem to have subsided too, don't feel so disgusting this week, but starting to feel more and more forgetful and lethargic. Been drinking a lot of water trying to help increase the amniotic fluid, can really feel the stretch going on around my belly area. Emotionally also have improved, although there are certain nights when Steven wants to talk about work, and I really just want to avoid about it. Finding it so difficult to just think about stuff and process information, but seeing all the worries on his face upsets me at the same time. Chant to self, must be a good supportive listener, just listen, just listen. 

Wedding weekend 

Hazel, Michelle and the Sunway group will be coming to Penang this weekend, we are all attending Wei Min's wedding. I'm both excited to dress up and hang out with them, but at the same time feeling constantly lethargic. 

It was fun to see them again, slightly awkward to see the rest but nevertheless happy to be with bunch of friends for a while. Everyone's life has progressed and moved on. The wedding dinner was okay but started feeling tired a while after sitting on the very stiff chair. Michelle sent me home and yeah I got a bunch of gifts from her, Michelle and Hazell also kept taking food for me during the dinner, making me feel like a queen. Being pregnant isn't so bad afterall. Also received ASOS gifts from Shuang, and present from Hazell, making me feel more and more pampered like a zillion bucks! hehe
