1 - 6 June - Phuket
Just came back from Phuket, thought I quickly take the opportunity to write down how I feel about the trip before I forgot about most things. I'm just getting more and more forgetful these days.
We arrived at wet rainy Phuket on 1 June (Wednesday) after clearing off most of the work the day before. Phuket was in the craziest weather ever, heavy rain storms, strong winds and waves. But the last three days were bright and sunny, so to sum it up we kinda experienced both extreme of the weather there.
This Phuket trip is by far one of my favourite trips ever because:-

WE COMPLETED THE LAGUNA PHUKET INTERNATIONAL MARATHON
I completed the 10km Laguna Phuket International Marathon on 4 June 2016 and Steven was super proud of me. The part where he was super proud of me made me happiest because I managed to prove to him that I could actually complete the race. Although it took me 1 hour and 48 minutes to complete it, I'm very glad I did.
What made me happiest was because he was very proud of me, with my awesome finish. Too bad we didn't get any photographs for the finish but just imagine a big sweaty ball rushing through the finishing line with her arms up above the sky and people around her cheering for her. Yup, that was me rushing through the finishing line.
After the race, we bumped into some Malaysians who were also there for the race and took pictures together with them. Malaysia Boleh! International marathons are really kinda cool to be able to see people from different places and especially better if you happen to meet people from your home country. But I'll really need to up my level if I want to join anymore international races in the future.
We were super tired after the race, it was challenging to even walk back to the hotel with all the muscle aches that's going on EVERYWHERE! When we finally did, our key cards couldn't function, could be due to all the cold water sponges we throw onto ourselves. Steven had to walk all the way back to the lobby to get the key cards fixed and return. I'm pretty sure that must have been a torturous walk for him.
We showered, changed in pajamas, ordered room service and had our dinner in the room and slept off.
We went for ATV ride, which was one of my wish to be able to sit behind Steven's bike since last time but other than our Pangkor trip many years ago, he never take me out on his bike ever. So it was a pretty great experience but I didn't get to do the whole hugging post because going up and down the super steep hill was so scary. I just didn't want to touch him at all, worried that touching him might scare him in anyway and lost control of the ATV.
We took a tuk tuk all the way to Big Buddha and from the bottom of the hill we rode all the way up to the top to see the Big Buddha.
I had two cakes that day, both arranged by Elaine but one was from a bakery outside and the other one was sent in from the Hotel. I have to admit I was a little upset when I realize the cakes were not arranged by Steven instead they were arranged by my sister. Kinda wished it was him who prepared the surprises. Oh well, I guess you just can't keep expecting too much in life. I should be super glad that he arranged the whole Phuket trip and I really had fun.
2. PAN BISTRO
I went to Burasari Spa on the first day, I went Burasari Spa last year when I was in Phuket and now again. Excellent service, great environment and very skillful masseuse! It's much more expensive than the roadside massages you can find around Phuket but it's worth every penny!
I also went to the Angsana Spa in Outrigger Resort on my birthday, it was good, relaxing but I personally prefer Burasari Spa over Angsana.
Oh yea, something interesting to note was that, when I went to Burasari Spa, Steven went for some roadside massage. According to his version of the story, the ladies insisted that he takes the full body massage, and 15 minutes after the massage, the masseuse asked if he wants a "Happy Ending". He paid and left the shop immediately.

WE HAD REALLY GOOD THAI FOOD
We went to a couple of local Thai restaurants and found some really good Thai Food, highly recommend the below restaurants around Laguna area. Again, great service and excellent food!
1. CHILLI KITCHEN
I WENT TO BURASARI SPA
I also went to the Angsana Spa in Outrigger Resort on my birthday, it was good, relaxing but I personally prefer Burasari Spa over Angsana.

We didn't go snorkeling this time was because Steven just had a minor procedure in his ear, and he can't swim for 6 months. So we decided to skipped snorkeling this trip and it was truly the best decision ever.
We didn't go snorkeling so that sort of took away a lot of stress I used to go through when we schedule snorkeling trips, like how fat I look in swimsuits and how I fat I feel when I have to jump off and climb back into the long-tail boats. Not to mention all the seasick that I have to go through to make it through.
The horrible weather on the first three days we arrived, if we could go snorkeling, we would have spent a lot of time arguing whether or not we should go out to the sea in that crazy weather.
We have a nice amount of sexy time, and experimented with some new things which was pretty exciting and cool. We didn't fight throughout the trip, except for the little chocolate milk incident but that also ended really quick.
The vacation was kinda how I hoped for, relaxing and loving. Spend a lot of time just enjoying each other's company, strolling through art galleries, eating local thai food, massages, painted my nail, more massages, more art galleries, and more art galleries.
This little vacation might go down as one of my all time favourite holiday! I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I stayed at Outrigger Laguna and I have to say it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed before, it was amazing. The service was top notch and the facilities was awesome. The pool was really nice! I only got into the waters on my birthday but not the ocean, I just went and swim in the pool for about 30 minutes. It was nice though, relaxing, not stressful. I had a wonderful time there.
